On June 15, Tajik President Emomali Rahmon met with individuals appointed to leadership positions in a number of central government agencies.
Personnel changes affected the leadership of the State Committee on Investments and State Property Management, the Tax Committee, the Housing and Communal Services Committee, the Environmental Protection Committee, the Antimonopoly Service, the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan, the Mining and Metallurgical Institute of Tajikistan, as well as scientific and educational institutions of the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan.






During a meeting with the appointed leaders, the head of state called on them to serve the people and the state honestly and conscientiously, emphasizing the importance of responsibly fulfilling their assigned duties.


Emomali Rahmon instructed that special attention be paid to accelerating digitalization processes, the effective and safe use of artificial intelligence technologies, and improving interactions with investors and entrepreneurs.
The President also identified these areas as important tasks for the future work of leaders appointed to senior government positions.
