A mini-football tournament for teenagers and young adults of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region was held in the Darvaz district from June 9 to 12, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan.
The sporting event was organized by the Republican Council "Dynamo" of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan jointly with the OSCE as part of an approved plan of activities aimed at developing sports and promoting a healthy lifestyle.


More than 10 teams, made up of students from district educational institutions and young people, took part in the competition. The tournament participants demonstrated a high level of athletic skill and a desire to win.
Following the competition, the team from Secondary School No. 1 in Kalai Khumb took first place. Second place went to the team from Secondary School No. 4 in Zingi. Third place also went to another team from Secondary School No. 1 in Kalai Khumb.
The winners and runners-up of the tournament were awarded medals, cups, certificates of honor, letters of thanks, and commemorative gifts.
As noted, the Republican Council of the Ministry of Internal Affairs "Dynamo" plans to hold similar sporting events in other cities and regions of the country.
