The Republican Council "Dynamo" of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan held a thematic event at the State Educational Institution "Medical College of Bokhtar." The meeting was organized to promote sports and a healthy lifestyle, prevent vagrancy among youth and adolescents, and prevent drug addiction and substance abuse, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan.
Opening the event, the college director noted that such initiatives are being implemented as part of the state youth policy and the fulfillment of the provisions of the Address of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.
During the meeting, the First Deputy Chairman of the Dynamo Council of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Police Colonel Asliddin Shohiyon, delivered a report on the prevention of vagrancy among youth and adolescents, the prevention of drug addiction and the use of psychotropic substances, as well as the promotion of sports and a healthy lifestyle.
Participants were particularly interested in the educational videos shown during the event. The materials were produced jointly with national television channels and law enforcement agencies.
In addition, representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs briefed students on the provisions of the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "On Patriotic Education of Youth in the Republic of Tajikistan," the implementation of priority areas of the State Youth Policy Strategy of the Republic of Tajikistan until 2030, and measures to prevent fanaticism and extremism in society.
At the conclusion of the event, diplomas, certificates of appreciation, and valuable gifts were presented to the girls' volleyball teams from the Bokhtar Medical College who took first and third place in the competition. The girls' volleyball team from the Pedagogical College also received awards for winning silver in the regional tournament among educational institutions.
