From June 1 to 4, 2026, representatives of government agencies and relevant bodies of the Republic of Tajikistan, including the Communications Service under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, visited the Republic of Uzbekistan on a study tour to explore best practices in digital technologies. This was reported by the press service of the Communications Service under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The main goal of the visit was to improve the knowledge and practical skills of specialists in the development, implementation, and coordination of digital systems. The trip also aimed to develop industry cooperation and study the successful experience of countries in the region in digital transformation.



During meetings and working negotiations, the Uzbek side presented its experience in implementing state policy in the area of digitalization, developing digital infrastructure, introducing electronic services, and coordinating the activities of government agencies.
As noted, the Communications Service, the authorized government agency in the field of communications and information and communication technologies, pays special attention to the study and implementation of modern practices, the expansion of digital services, and the implementation of the goals of the Digital Economy Development Strategy.
As part of the program, representatives from Tajikistan learned about practical experience implementing digital projects, approaches to addressing industry challenges, and mechanisms for coordinating digitalization processes. The parties also discussed developing technical cooperation and implementing joint initiatives.
According to the Communications Service, the study tour is important for further strengthening cooperation between Tajikistan and Uzbekistan in the field of digital technologies, enhancing the professional potential of specialists, and promoting digitalization processes in the Republic of Tajikistan.
