The opening ceremony of the 12th Republican "Young Traffic Inspectors" competition was held in the city of Gissar. The competition aims to improve the knowledge and legal awareness of students in educational institutions in the area of traffic regulations and road accident prevention, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan.
The event took place on June 2, 2026, at the Shokhambari JSC with the participation of children and adolescents from various regions of the country.
Opening the competition, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Police Colonel Ilhomiddin Sirojiddin Valizoda, noted that the "Young Traffic Inspectors" competition is an important factor in educating teenagers on the legal aspects of learning and observing traffic rules. He added that the event also helps strengthen friendships between participants.
During the ceremony, it was emphasized that the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan is taking the necessary measures to ensure the safety of road users, especially children and adolescents, paying particular attention to protecting the lives and health of citizens.
The competition brings together the best teams of "Young Traffic Inspectors" from cities and districts across the republic. Participants will demonstrate their knowledge, skills, and abilities in enforcing and promoting traffic regulations.
As noted during the event, the main goal of the competition is to improve road safety, foster a sense of responsibility among adolescents, and prevent road accidents involving children.
At the end of the opening ceremony, Ilhomiddin Sirojiddin Valizoda wished the participants a successful performance and high results in the competition.
