On May 21, 2026, Tajikistan's Foreign Minister Sirojiddin Mukhriddin met with Kakha Imnadze, head of the United Nations Regional Centre for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan.
During the talks, the parties discussed key areas of cooperation between Tajikistan and the UN Regional Centre. Particular attention was paid to countering modern security threats and challenges, ensuring sustainable development, and strengthening cooperation between Central Asian states.
The interlocutors also discussed issues of cooperation in the areas of water resources, energy, ecology, and climate change.
