Heavy rainfall is expected in Tajikistan from May 21 to 25, potentially leading to mudslides in several regions, according to the Tajik Hydrometeorology Agency.
According to the agency, mudflows are predicted in some areas in the Districts of Republican Subordination, Khatlon and Sughd regions, as well as in the west of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region.
In addition, water levels are expected to rise in the Isfara, Zeravshan, Obihingou, Vakhsh, Panj, Yakhsu, Kyzylsu (southern) rivers, as well as in the rivers flowing down the southern slopes of the Gissar Range.
Due to adverse weather conditions, citizens are advised to take precautions.
