From May 19 to 22, Dushanbe is hosting the ICT Week Tajikistan 2026, a week of science, technology, innovation, and inventions for teenagers and young people. The event is dedicated to the 35th anniversary of Tajikistan's independence and is held under the motto "35 Years of Independence – The Digital Future from the Perspective of Teens and Young People," according to the press service of the Communications Service under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.
Representatives of the Dushanbe Executive Authority, the Agency for Innovation and Digital Technologies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Government Communications Service, the Smart City State Enterprise, as well as teachers, specialists, and students in the field of information technology and the digital economy, participated in the opening ceremony.






As the organizers noted, ICT Week Tajikistan 2026 became not only a platform for showcasing technological achievements but also a platform for professional dialogue.
The event is expected to allow young people and professionals to exchange experiences, discuss the development of the digital economy, and promote the training of highly qualified personnel to strengthen Tajikistan's digital ecosystem.
