At Bokhtar Airport, citizens are being informed about new entry rules to Russia.

Employees of the Khatlon Region Migration Service continue to conduct interviews and meetings with returning migrant workers, as well as with citizens planning to travel to the Russian Federation, at Bokhtar International Airport. This was reported by the Khatlon Region Migration Service.

During meetings with returning migrants, specialists provide recommendations on employment within the country, engaging citizens in vocational training and foreign language learning, and preparing for labor migration.

In addition, citizens are provided with information on preventing youth involvement in terrorist and extremist organizations and movements, preventing human trafficking, and are also introduced to the new migration laws of the Russian Federation.

Particular attention is being paid to citizens intending to travel to Russia. They are reminded that, in accordance with Russian law, foreign citizens are required to provide information about their employment contract with their employer to the local office of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs at their place of residence within two months of receiving a work permit (patent).

During the meetings, it was also explained that there are three legal ways to submit information to local authorities: through the state postal service "Russian Post," through the unified state portal "Gosuslugi," or in person by contacting the federal state budgetary institution "Passport and Visa Service" of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia at your place of employment. For Moscow and the Moscow Region, this institution is the Sakharovo Migration Center.

Migration Service officials warned that if a foreign citizen fails to comply with the laws of the host country, their legal status in the Russian Federation will be lost. Furthermore, documents issued for employment will be automatically revoked, and the citizen will be included in the Register of Controlled Persons.

Citizens were also reminded to carry all required documents when traveling abroad. These documents include a medical certificate, a certificate of absence of infectious diseases, proof of fingerprinting, a certificate of no criminal record, and documents confirming professional qualifications.
