A briefing on preparations for the Fourth International High-Level Conference within the framework of the International Decade for Action, "Water for Sustainable Development, 2018–2028," was held at UNESCO headquarters in Paris on April 28, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan.
The event was held at the initiative of the Permanent Delegation of Tajikistan to UNESCO and brought together employees of the organization's relevant departments, as well as representatives of Member States.
Participants were provided with detailed information on the objectives, agenda, expected results, and organizational aspects of the upcoming conference, which will be held from 25 to 28 May 2026 in Dushanbe.
Tajikistan's Permanent Delegate to UNESCO, Dilshod Rahimi, spoke about the government's preparations and emphasized the importance of the country's international initiatives in the area of water resources.
