Two people were killed and several others injured in two road accidents in Tajikistan, the Tajik Ministry of Internal Affairs reports.
The first incident occurred on April 25, 2026, at approximately 3:00 PM in the Muminabad district. The driver of a Lexus GS-350, Muhammadshoi Davlatsho, born in 1991, a resident of the Muminabad district, was driving from the village of Childukhtaron toward the district center when he lost control of the vehicle in the village of Dashti Ar-Ari. As a result, the vehicle overturned into a ravine approximately 35–40 meters deep.
A passenger in the car, Madina Khairullo, born in 1998 and a resident of the same area, was injured and died at the scene. The driver was hospitalized with injuries.
The second accident occurred on April 26, 2026, at around 12:00 pm on the 207th kilometer of the Dushanbe-Rasht-Tajikabad highway, in the village of Safedmuy, Kalai Labiob jamoat, Tajikabad district.
A Mitsubishi driven by Hasani Davlatkhuja, born in 1991, collided with an Opel Zafira driven by Izatullo Dzhaloliddinovich Mukimov, born in 1995, a resident of the Jaykhun district.
As a result of the accident, the Opel Zafira passenger, Kibryo Abdulloyevna Yusupova, born in 1974, a resident of Vahdat, was injured and died in the hospital. Another passenger, Yoribeg Murodbekovich Mukhtodzhov, born in 1996, a resident of the Jaykhun district, was hospitalized.
Investigative actions are being carried out on both facts.
