Following in the footsteps of the heroes of the Chinese film about southern lychees, we arrived in Guangdong province to see those same sweet fruits that once traveled thousands of kilometers to the imperial capital.

Here, among green hills and orchards, among amazing temples and monuments, we discovered not only the taste of fresh lychee, but also the rich history and culture of this beautiful land.
