Director of the Civil Aviation Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Nazarzoda Habibullo Temur participated in the Global Implementation Support Symposium, which was held from April 14 to 16, 2026, in Morocco, the Tajik agency reported.

The international event was attended by the Secretary General of the International Civil Aviation Organization, Juan Carlos Salazar; the Director of the ICAO Regional Office for Europe and the North Atlantic, Nicolas Rallo; the Minister of Transport and Logistics of the Kingdom of Morocco, Abdesamad Kayouh; and heads of civil aviation authorities from more than 50 countries.
The symposium included bilateral and multilateral meetings to discuss expanding cooperation in civil aviation. The parties exchanged views on flight safety and security, the launch of direct flights between the Republic of Tajikistan and European countries, the development of air cargo transportation, and the expansion of existing routes.
It is emphasized that such meetings are important for strengthening international ties, attracting new partners, and creating favorable conditions for the sustainable development of the country's civil aviation.
It is expected that the agreements reached during the negotiations will contribute to the expansion of the route network, an increase in the level and quality of service, and the strengthening of the Republic of Tajikistan's position in the global civil aviation system in the near future.
