On April 15, Khatlon Region Chairman Davlatali Said inspected the progress of asphalt paving on a local road in the village of Ostona during a working visit to the Dangara District. This was reported by the press service of the Khatlon Region Chairman.
The road's reconstruction and paving are being carried out at the initiative of local entrepreneurs with the active participation of village residents. The work is being financed by charitable donations, including those collected after the Hajj pilgrimage, as well as through sadaqah (fitr). The total length of the road is 9 kilometers.
According to authorities, such initiatives are seen as examples of effective collaboration between the state and society in matters of landscaping, developing road infrastructure, and improving living conditions.

Reconstruction work began in January 2026. An important stage of roadway preparation and alignment has now been completed. Preparatory work, as well as subsequent asphalt paving stages, are currently ongoing.
During the visit, the regional governor met with residents, officials, and local activists, issuing specific instructions to ensure the quality and timely completion of road works. He emphasized that improving road conditions facilitates public transportation and contributes to the socioeconomic development of rural areas, as well as improving the quality of services provided.

It was also noted that in 2025, more than 600 kilometers of local roads were paved in the cities and districts of Khatlon Region with the participation of residents and businesses. This is seen as an indicator of increased community responsibility and cohesion in matters of public improvement.
The authorities also emphasized that similar initiatives will continue in the future, creating conditions for infrastructure development and improving the quality of life of the population.
