The 28th International Exhibition of Tourism Services "OTDYKH-2026" was held in Minsk from April 9 to 11, 2026, with the participation of a delegation from the Republic of Tajikistan, reports NIAT "Khovar".

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Tajikistan to the Republic of Belarus Bakhtovar Safarzoda, as well as other diplomatic staff, participated in the exhibition.
According to the Tajik Embassy in Belarus, the event included a presentation of the country's tourism potential. It showcased Tajikistan's historical and cultural heritage, diverse natural landscapes, clean water resources, and government policy on tourism development.
Particular attention was paid to measures aimed at simplifying the entry and stay of foreign citizens, creating favorable conditions for attracting investment, interaction with domestic and foreign tourism companies, as well as the "open skies" policy and the country's international rankings in the tourism sector.
In addition, as part of Tourism Week in Minsk on April 7, Deputy of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan Nematullo Kholboyzoda took part in the international forum "Travel Hub" of the Commonwealth of Independent States, where he delivered a report.
The OTDYKH-2026 Forum is the largest tourism event in Belarus and serves as a platform for international business interaction between countries, regions, travel companies, industry organizations, the hotel sector, and health resorts promoting their services on the Belarusian market.
In 2026, the exhibition will be held for the first time at the BELEXPO International Exhibition Center.
