Expanding scientific research cooperation between the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan and Oxford University was discussed on April 8 in Dushanbe during a meeting between Academy President Kobiljon Khushvakhtzoda and university representatives and specialists in Persian language and literature, according to the press service of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan.
The parties discussed the conclusion of an agreement between the academy and the university, the exchange of experience between scientists, the launch of joint educational programs, and the implementation of international projects.
It was emphasized that cooperation in the study of Persian language and literature, research into cultural heritage and the development of academic ties could be mutually beneficial for both sides.


Particular attention was paid to the training of research personnel through master's and doctoral students. The parties noted the need to strengthen cooperation in the training of highly qualified specialists.
It was noted that attracting talented young people to master's and doctoral programs, organizing student and researcher exchanges, and creating conditions for joint research can contribute to the further development of science and education and strengthen the intellectual potential of society.
The parties agreed to hold future conferences and joint scientific consultations. They believe such events create favorable conditions for knowledge sharing, presenting research results, and expanding scientific collaboration.
