At the Bharat Electricity Summit 2026 international forum in Delhi, Tajikistan's Minister of Energy and Water Resources Daler Juma met with Gurdeep Singh, Managing Director of NTPC Limited, one of India's largest energy companies. This was reported by the Ministry of Energy and Water Resources of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The discussion focused on expanding bilateral cooperation in the energy sector, particularly in the areas of electricity production and transmission, attracting investment, and implementing joint projects.


It was noted that NTPC Limited, being one of the largest power producers in India and the region, has significant experience in developing coal, gas, hydropower, and renewable energy projects.
The parties emphasized the importance of using NTPC Limited's best practices in implementing large-scale energy projects, introducing innovative technologies, and improving energy efficiency in the Republic of Tajikistan.
