On March 16, 2026, a meeting of the Working Group for Coordination of the Preparation and Implementation of International Events of the Commission of Children's Rights Commissioners of the CIS Member States was held. This was reported by the press service of the Organization's Executive Committee.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Tajikistan, as well as the Secretary of the Children's Council of the Commission, Alexandra Chernova.



As part of an exchange of experience on the implementation of children's rights to live and be raised in a family, participants discussed preparations for the international conference "Practice of Restoring Parental Rights," which will be held on March 31, 2026.
In addition, the Commission's participation in international events dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the Commonwealth of Independent States was discussed, as well as the preparation of a report on the Commission's activities, which will be presented at the next meeting of the CIS Council of Foreign Ministers.
It is reported that a permanent Working Group for the Coordination of the Preparation and Holding of International Events was established by the Commission's decision of November 1, 2023.
The Working Group consists of 12 people – representatives of the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan and the CIS Executive Committee.
Meetings of the Working Group are held as necessary, but not less than once every two months.
