On March 16, 2026, on the sidelines of the United Nations Anti-Fraud Conference in Vienna, a meeting was held between the First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Colonel General of Police Alamshozoda Abdurahmon Alamsho, and Interpol Secretary General Valdés Urquiza. This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan.


Alamshozoda Abdurakhmon expressed gratitude to Interpol Secretary General Valdez Urquiza for inviting the delegation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan to participate in the Global Anti-Fraud Summit, organized in cooperation with the International Criminal Police Organization.
During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of bilateral cooperation in law enforcement, the fight against transnational organized crime, and the search for criminals.
The Interpol Secretary General noted that the issues raised by the Tajik side are being studied, and if any shortcomings are identified, they will be addressed through joint efforts.
At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed satisfaction that the results of this event contribute to the creation of a favorable atmosphere for further cooperation.
