A government delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Sulaimon Ziyozoda inspected the growth of flowers and tree buds in the city of Hisor following the snowfalls and frosts of recent days. This was reported by NIAT Khovar, citing the Executive Authority of the City of Hisor.
During the trip, members of the delegation took part in a tree planting event organized by residents of the village of Tuda in the Mirzo Rizo rural jamoat.
According to the city's agricultural department, more than 300 saplings of shade and ornamental trees were planted in the garden.
During the tree planting ceremony, the Deputy Prime Minister of Tajikistan spoke with those involved in the community work and expressed gratitude for their contribution to the improvement of the area.
The country's Deputy Prime Minister also provided farmers with recommendations and advice on protecting their orchards and vineyards from possible frosts, which cannot be ruled out due to climate change and the increased duration of frosts in early spring.
It was hoped that the city's gardeners would celebrate the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan with significant achievements.
