On March 10, 2026, at the initiative of the Interdepartmental Commission to Combat Human Trafficking, training seminars were held in Khorog with the participation of representatives of the judicial system of GBAO and its subordinate cities and districts, prosecutors, and employees of investigative and operational units of the prosecutor's office, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the State Committee for National Security, the Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption, the Drug Control Agency, and the GBAO Customs Service. This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan.
The seminars began with opening remarks by Abdurakhmon Alamshozoda, Colonel General of Police and Chairman of the Interdepartmental Commission to Combat Human Trafficking, First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan. The sessions included a detailed discussion of current issues in criminal proceedings, as well as assistance to victims of human trafficking, with the participation of leading academics and industry experts.



On the same day, as part of the continuation of the working visit of the Interdepartmental Commission to Combat Human Trafficking to GBAO, led by A.A. Alamshozoda, a working meeting was held in the meeting room of the Roshtkala district executive body. The meeting was attended by the district chairman, Safarzoda Lashkar Aslam, the territorial commission to combat human trafficking, heads and deputy heads of district law enforcement agencies and government bodies, civil society activists, youth, and religious leaders. Heads of regional law enforcement agencies, including the heads of the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs, the State Committee for National Security of the Republic of Tajikistan, and the GBAO Customs Department, also participated in the event.



During the meeting, Alamshozoda A.A. spoke to participants about the threats and dangers of crimes related to human trafficking, the protection of the rights of victims of human trafficking and assistance provided to them, as well as the role of civil society activists in the fight against this phenomenon.
Alamshozoda A.A. also delivered speeches on the crime situation in GBAO, including the activities of terrorist and extremist movements and organizations, the voluntary return of members of extremist organizations to their homeland, religious radicalism, fanaticism and extremism in society, the illegal trafficking of weapons, precious stones and narcotics, the illegal religious education of minors, obstruction of compulsory general education, cases of suicide, illegal seizure of land plots, witchcraft, as well as issues of raising minors and youth in the spirit of national pride and patriotism, obtaining an education, professions and crafts, and serving the state and the nation in the future.
