On March 2, during a working visit, Prime Minister Kokhir Rasulzoda and Khatlon Region Chairman Davlatali Said visited Kulobtachkhizot OJSC, Vahdat Textile LLC, and Resandai Kulob LLC in the city of Kulyab. These enterprises have been closed for several years, according to the press service of the Khatlon Region Chairman.
After reviewing the current state of the enterprises, the Prime Minister set specific tasks for the heads of enterprises and responsible officials in the industry and gave instructions on how to quickly eliminate deficiencies, restore production activities, and fully utilize existing capacities.
At the same time, special attention was paid to improving product quality and ensuring the sustainable development of enterprises. A mandate was also given to increase the number of jobs by fully utilizing existing production capacities, ensuring that more citizens are provided with permanent employment.


It is noted that currently, entrepreneurs in the city of Kulyab are making a significant contribution to the improvement and development of the city's industry.
Continuing the visit, the official delegation inspected the progress of construction work at a poultry feed production facility being built by local entrepreneur Kholmukhammad Odinaev in the village of Lagmon in Kulyab Jamoat.
The total investment in the project is 3.5 million somoni. The plant's production capacity will be 20 tons per day, and once operational, it will provide permanent employment for 15 people.


Construction work on the site began in 2024. Construction is currently being accelerated to ensure the plant is operational as quickly as possible.
It is emphasized that the resumption of industrial activity and the creation of new production capacities will contribute to economic development and the creation of new jobs in the city of Kulyab.
