Dushanbe Istiklol and Tajikistan national team forward Manuchehr Jalilov has decided to end his professional career, the Tajikistan Football Federation reports.
On March 2, the Istiklol Football Club held a ceremony in Dushanbe to mark its preparations for the new season. The event included a tribute to Manuchehr Jalilov, who officially announced his retirement from professional football.


Istiklol's management, teammates, and representatives of the football community expressed their gratitude to Manuchehr for his significant contribution to the success of the Dushanbe club and the national team.
Manuchehr Jalilov played for the Tajikistan U-17 team at the 2007 World Championships in South Korea, where he and the team reached the 1/8 finals.
He made his debut for the Tajikistan national team on March 26, 2015, in a friendly match against the Maldives with a score of 2:0, scoring a goal.
During his ten years with the Tajikistan national team from 2015 to 2025, he played 54 matches and scored 20 goals. Manuchehr Jalilov is currently the top scorer in the history of the Tajikistan national team.
