The village of Mazor, Loiq Sherali Jamoat, in the city of Penjikent, is home to rare historical monuments—the Khoja Muhammad Bashoro Mausoleum and the Tali Hamtuda Fortress, both included on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Furthermore, the house-museum and monument to the People's Poet of Tajikistan, Loiq Sherali, are visited by hundreds of tourists and guests annually, according to the city's press service.

During his working visit, the mayor of the village, Abdukholiq Kholiqzoda, inspected the aforementioned historical sites. He instructed the officials responsible to continue the renovation of the Muhammad Bashoro Mausoleum in compliance with established standards, install a fence around the monument to Tali Khamtuda, plant saplings and carry out landscaping around the monument and on the grounds of the house museum, and complete the construction of the village community center within the scheduled timeframe.

On the same day, more than 300 ornamental tree saplings were planted along the road between the villages of Bakhor and Mazor.
