Sughd Regional Governor Rajab Akhmadzoda inspected construction work at several new enterprises in the city of Buston, according to the Sughd Regional Administration press service.
As was emphasized, in accordance with the instructions and orders of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, priority attention in the Sughd region is being given to the development of industry, the construction of new manufacturing facilities, the creation of jobs, and the efficient use of existing capacities.
During the visit, officials from Agrotrading LLC announced their plans to build rice processing and packaging facilities, as well as a soft drink production facility. They noted that, until now, the company's primary focus has been providing services, but once the new facilities are operational, its operations will be completely reoriented toward manufacturing. These projects will provide more than 60 local residents with permanent jobs and decent wages.






Sughd Region Chairman Rajab Akhmadzoda instructed responsible officials to complete construction work within the established timeframe, in compliance with modern requirements and quality standards, and to commission the facilities in a timely manner.
At the same time, Rajab Akhmadzoda inspected the progress of the reconstruction and modernization of the Khujand Hotel and the city lake. The hotel is reportedly being reconstructed and modernized with funding from the Executive Authority of the State Authority of the Sughd Region. The hotel building consists of 14 floors and has 187 rooms.
Given the Republic of Tajikistan's significant tourism potential, rich history and culture, and unique natural beauty, the Khujand Hotel is designed to accommodate domestic and international tourists, while offering a level of service that meets modern standards.



During his introduction to the reconstruction project, Chairman Rajab Akhmadzoda instructed those responsible to utilize the high art of national architecture in the renovation work and ensure its implementation at a high level of quality.
During his visit, the regional governor also reviewed the progress of the reconstruction of the Bustona city lake. It was reported that the improvement work is proceeding according to plan, and the responsible employees of the Housing and Public Utilities Department are effectively utilizing the available resources.
Landscaping work has been expanded around the city lake, with ornamental and shade trees planted and other improvement activities continuing.
The Chairman of the Sughd Region, Rajab Akhmadzoda, instructed responsible officials to accelerate the pace of construction work and ensure its high-quality completion.
