The Tajik young chess team made a strong start to the international chess tournament "Intellect Academy Cup," taking place in Novokuznetsk, Russia. This was reported by the press service of the Tajik Chess Federation.
In the first round, Tajik athletes demonstrated a high level of training and won a convincing victory over the team from the Altai Territory of the Russian Federation with a score of 13:0.



From the very first games, the Tajik chess players seized the initiative and won every game, leaving their opponents no chance. This start was a strong sign of success for the team in the rest of the competition.
The coaching staff praised the composure, discipline, and fighting spirit of the young athletes, who managed to overcome their nerves and perform at their best on the international stage.
The team still has several rounds ahead, in which it will face opponents from different regions and countries.
