In 2025, foreign capital inflows into the economy of the Republic of Tajikistan amounted to $6,925.3 million. Compared to 2024, this figure increased by $1,798.6 million, or 35.1%.
The Chairman of the State Committee on Investments and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan, Rahimzoda Sulton, announced this at a press conference.
According to him, during the reporting period, foreign capital from the Commonwealth of Independent States amounted to $3,031.0 million, or 43.8% of the total. Compared to 2024, this figure increased by $1,067.3 million, or 54.4%.
Foreign capital inflows from non-CIS countries amounted to $3,894.3 million, or 56.2% of the total. Compared to 2024, this represents an increase of $731.3 million, or 23.1%.






To attract foreign direct investment, create new jobs, increase production and export potential, and establish import-substituting production, the committee signed nine investment agreements totaling $681.2 million during the reporting period, in accordance with government decrees of the Republic of Tajikistan. These projects are expected to create more than 3,778 new jobs in various sectors of the economy.
It is noted that one of the key factors in attracting foreign investment is improving the regulatory framework and bringing investment legislation into line with modern requirements. At the committee's suggestion, a new version of the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "On Investments and Stimulation of Investment Activity" No. 2173 was adopted on May 14, 2025.



In addition, in accordance with the instructions arising from the Address of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan dated December 28, 2024, the Government Resolution of July 1, 2025 No. 372 adopted the “Strategy for Attracting Investments to the Republic of Tajikistan for the Period up to 2040” and an action plan for its implementation for 2026–2030.
From October 14–16, the International Investment Forum "Dushanbe Invest 2025" was held with the support and participation of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon. More than 50 cooperation agreements worth a total of $4.1 billion were signed during the forum.
