Stand-up comedian Nurlan Saburov has been banned from entering the Russian Federation for 50 years, according to the Telegram channel Mash.
According to the publication, the decision came into force on January 30. It is noted that the ban applies for the entire specified period, preventing entry into the country.
As Mash reports, Saburov was stopped during border checks at Moscow's Vnukovo Airport, where he arrived on a flight from Dubai. According to the source, after the checks, the comedian was denied entry into Russia.
It was also reported that at the time of publication, Saburov was unable to leave the airport and fly back because he lacked the funds to purchase a return ticket.
According to Mash, the entry ban was based on violations of Russian immigration and tax laws, as well as public criticism of Russia's war against Ukraine.
