The Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan, in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme in Tajikistan (UNDP), organized and held an online roundtable discussion on "Strengthening the Whistleblower Protection Mechanism in Tajikistan." This was reported by the Agency's press center.

The event was held as part of the "Strengthening Transparency and Accountability for Results" program, implemented jointly by the Agency and the United Nations Development Programme in Tajikistan. The roundtable was attended by officials and specialists from the United Nations Development Programme in Tajikistan, representatives of the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission of the Republic of Korea, and the UN Development Programme Seoul Policy Center.
During the event, the parties engaged in a constructive dialogue on the implementation of the "Anti-Corruption Measures Effectiveness Assessment" and "Transparency Portal" electronic platforms in the Republic of Tajikistan, and discussed existing challenges in this area.
It was noted that the implementation of these systems will create a favorable basis for ensuring the transparent activities of government agencies, protecting the rights and freedoms of individuals and citizens, engaging society in the fight against corruption, and reducing the intensity of this phenomenon in the country.
Representatives of the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission of the Republic of Korea expressed their willingness to provide practical assistance to the Agency in implementing the above initiatives.
