Sughd Regional Governor Rajb Akhmadzoda held working meetings with officials from two industrial enterprises in the region—the Tajik-American Joint Venture Limited Liability Company "Anzob" and the Anzob Metallurgical Plant Limited Liability Company. This was reported by the regional administration's press service.
During a meeting with representatives of the Tajik-American joint venture "Anzob," issues of industrial development and the role of manufacturing enterprises in implementing creative projects and achieving the region's strategic goals were discussed. The regional chairman emphasized that sustainable industrial development is an important factor in the country's economic progress.


The company reportedly completed 2025 with production worth 3 billion 894.4 million somoni. The company's management confirmed its intention to increase production volume to 4.7 billion somoni in 2026, in line with its commitments.
The company's responsible officials noted that throughout their operations, they have experienced constant support from the state and government, and in turn, they contribute to the region's development by participating in creative work and implementing social projects.
Rajab Akhmadzoda praised the company's activities and provided specific recommendations for continuing development work, increasing production volumes, and efficiently utilizing existing capacity.
The regional governor also met with the management of Anzob Metallurgical Plant LLC. Last year, the plant produced goods worth 5.319 billion somoni. In 2026, Anzob Metallurgical Plant plans to increase production to 6.6 billion somoni, demonstrating continued growth in production capacity.
