Police officers in the A. Jami district detained three residents on suspicion of stealing property, according to the Khatlon Region Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Those detained were: Sharifzoda Makhmadsharif, born in 2002, previously convicted under Article 248 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Tajikistan; Khudoynazarov Idibek, born in 1998; and Kholmurodzoda Umar, born in 1991, all residents of the A. Jomi district.



Police officers established that the individuals, by prior conspiracy, entered homes and farmland at night, stealing men's clothing, cash, electrical appliances, televisions, and livestock. They used the proceeds of the crime for personal use, causing significant financial losses.



According to the agency, the suspects are charged with 12 counts of theft. A criminal case has been opened against them under Article 244, Part 2 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Tajikistan at the Investigative Department of the A. Jami District Department of Internal Affairs. The preliminary investigation is currently ongoing.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs emphasized that theft is a vile and shameful act that not only brings shame to those who commit it but also negatively impacts the lives of their children and loved ones.
