A greening campaign was held along the Bokhtar-Levakant highway, during which more than 1,000 evergreen and shade trees were planted, according to the press service of the Khatlon regional administration.
A seedling planting campaign was organized in the Bustonkala jamoat of the Kushoniyon district with the participation of the Chairman of the Khatlon region, Davlatali Said, as part of the instructions and directions of the Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon.



During a meeting with residents and district officials, the regional governor emphasized the importance of such initiatives for improving the environment, beautifying communities, and expanding green spaces. The relevant agencies were instructed to ensure proper care of the planted trees.
According to the State Program for Greening the Republic of Tajikistan, 600,000 different types of trees, as well as more than 9 million flowers and shrubs, are planned to be planted in the Khatlon region by 2026.






It should be noted that, on the instructions of the regional chairman, landscaping and greening work continues in all cities and districts of the Khatlon region, aimed at raising the standard of living of the population and improving the appearance of settlements.
