Creating favorable conditions for the healthy development of adolescents, as well as protecting their health, are among the priority tasks of parents, society, and the state and require a high degree of responsibility.
According to the Dushanbe Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, unfortunately, some citizens, pursuing personal gain, knowingly sell alcohol and tobacco products to minors. Such actions negatively impact children's moral character and pose a serious threat to their health.
To prevent such illegal actions, Moscow police officers regularly conduct raids and inspections, as well as outreach to the public and businesses.
In particular, 2,338 cases of alcohol and tobacco sales to minors were registered in the city in 2025. Administrative protocols were drawn up against those who violated the law in accordance with Articles 463 (Note 2) and 464 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Tajikistan, and fines were imposed.
Citizens, especially entrepreneurs and retailers, are urged to take care of the health of the younger generation. Strict adherence to legal requirements in this area is seen not only as fulfilling a civic duty but also as a guarantee of raising a healthy and educated generation.
Protecting minors from harmful habits, including alcohol and tobacco use, serves as the foundation for the formation of a healthy future society and ensures the sustainable development of the younger generation.
