On December 23, 2025, at Dushanbe International Airport, the Tajikistan national team, which participated in the Angkor International Mathematical Olympiad (AMC–2025), returned home with outstanding results. The team was greeted with great honor and pride, according to the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Tajikistan.


The Olympiad took place on December 12 in Phnom Penh, the capital of the Kingdom of Cambodia. More than 1,600 students from 13 Asian countries participated in the competition. The tournament was distinguished by its high level of organization and the complexity of its tasks.


The Tajik participants demonstrated a high level of preparation, winning 51 medals: 14 gold, 17 silver, and 15 bronze. Furthermore, five young representatives from Tajikistan scored high scores and were among the top participants in the Olympiad, further strengthening the country's international recognition in education and science.
The results of the Olympiad demonstrate the growing attention to the development of talented youth and the high level of preparation of schoolchildren in the Republic of Tajikistan.
