During the working visit of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, to Japan to participate in the first "Central Asia + Japan Dialogue" Summit, a number of events and bilateral meetings were held aimed at strengthening cooperation between Tajikistan and Japan in key areas, according to the press service of the Communications Service under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.
In particular, on December 18, in Tokyo, as part of the Central Asia + Japan Dialogue Summit, a framework event entitled “Tajik–Japan Digital Business Connect” was held to present the potential and capabilities of the Republic of Tajikistan in the fields of telecommunications, communications and digital technologies.


Representatives of the Communications Service under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan participated in the event and spoke about the development of communications infrastructure and telecommunications technologies in the Republic of Tajikistan, as well as expressed their opinions on expanding cooperation in this area.
It is noted that this event was aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation in the digital economy, innovation, and information technology, including communications and telecommunications. A number of service companies from the Republic of Tajikistan actively participated.
Representatives of domestic companies held meaningful meetings with Japanese companies and business representatives, during which they presented best practices, opportunities for cooperation and joint projects, as well as products and services of Tajik companies. The meetings covered topics such as startup development, attracting investment, exporting digital services, implementing modern technologies, and expanding direct business ties.


The "Tajik–Japan Digital Business Connect" event was hailed as an important step in establishing Tajikistan as a reliable partner in the telecommunications and communications sector. It is reported that it will contribute to the country's strategic goals of developing and improving the digital economy, modernizing infrastructure, and providing high-quality communications services, including broadband and high-speed internet.
It is particularly emphasized that the participation of the Communications Service in such international events demonstrates the desire of the Republic of Tajikistan to develop and modernize the communications infrastructure, improve the level and quality of services, and expand international cooperation in the field of advanced technologies.
