The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan strongly condemns the attack motivated by ethnic hatred against Qobiljon Aliyev, a fourth-grade student at Uspenskaya Secondary School in the village of Gorki-2, Odintsovo Urban District, Moscow Region, which occurred on December 16, 2025, at the school. As a result of the attack, the minor Tajik citizen died at the scene. This was reported in an official statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan.
Following this tragic incident, Russian Ambassador to Tajikistan Semyon Grigoryev was summoned to the Tajik Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He was handed a note demanding that Russia conduct an immediate, objective, and impartial investigation of the incident, and that all those involved be held accountable in full accordance with the law.
Earlier, the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Russian Federation took control of the investigation into the murder of 10-year-old Kobiljon Aliyev and sent an official letter to the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan expressed its deepest condolences to the family and friends of the deceased, emphasizing the need for strict respect for the rights and protection of its citizens abroad. The ministry also expressed hope for a full and comprehensive investigation of the incident by the competent authorities of the Russian Federation.
