Industrial facilities operating under the auspices of Taminoti Mohi Open Joint-Stock Company and established by Mohii Tojik Corporation Limited Liability Company in collaboration with the Agency for Provision of Special Property under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan in Guliston process one ton of fish and produce over 5,000 canned fish per shift, according to the Executive Authority of State Authority of Sughd Region.
The enterprise was created to provide military structures and the country's domestic market with canned fish.
The Chairman of the Sughd Region, Rajab Akhmadzoda, instructed the company's management to increase production volumes by making maximum use of existing capabilities and infrastructure.
Authorities note that given the large number of fish farms located in the Sughd region, cooperation between production companies and farms will become even more effective.
Fish farming is one of the most profitable sectors of the agricultural sector, and Tajikistan's water and climate conditions are considered favorable for its further development.
