On December 3, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and Chairman of the Majlisi Milli Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan and Chairman of the City of Dushanbe Rustami Emomali opened the Guliston preschool educational institution in the capital's Sino district, the press service of the head of state reported.
A new, modern kindergarten was built by local entrepreneur Manuchehr Karimzoda, following the constant guidance and direction of the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, using a beautiful, contemporary design.

The institution consists of a three-story building with a basement, where the education and upbringing of children is effectively organized in three languages: Tajik, Russian, and English.
Construction work began in 2023, with more than 70 local workers provided with temporary jobs during construction.
The new Guliston kindergarten has 20 groups serving 400 children. Currently, 53 experienced teachers and caregivers work with the children, and this number will increase to 100 in the future.
Each study group has separate rooms for children to sleep and rest.
Emomali Rahmon held a warm conversation with the kindergarten children and presented them with holiday gifts, including sweets and various toys.
The institution’s canteen is connected to the main building and is designed to accommodate more than 100 children at a time.
In addition, the kindergarten is equipped with work areas, a laundry room, a food storage area, and a medical office.
The President inspected the classrooms, dormitories, and general conditions of the institution and made appropriate recommendations to those responsible for the education and upbringing of children.
The classrooms are decorated with posters and slogans expressing love for the Motherland, as well as images of fairy-tale characters, reflecting the children's vibrant perception of the world.
A special salt-treated room improves breathing, reduces inflammation, and strengthens children's immunity. This environment purifies the air and alleviates the symptoms of colds, allergies, and nervous system fatigue. It's worth noting that this method is being implemented for the first time in preschools in Tajikistan.
The courtyard is equipped with modern playground equipment, which is actively used by children. There is also a sports ground for various children's games.
The President was shown the building's capabilities and available equipment, noting that all classrooms are equipped with visual aids and modern teaching aids to create adequate conditions for children's education and upbringing.
The kindergarten's teachers and educators praised this modern facility as a worthy gift for a major national holiday—the 35th anniversary of the Republic of Tajikistan's state independence—emphasizing that under such favorable conditions, the new generation is being raised in a spirit of patriotism, respect for the rich history of the Tajik people, and participation in the country's prosperity.
Today, with the participation of the Head of State and the Chairman of the City of Dushanbe, a total of 8 preschool institutions for 1,900 children were opened in the capital.
Construction of another 98 preschools for 23,000 children continues in Dushanbe.
It should be noted that in 2025, 5 schools with 2,650 places in two shifts and 16 preschool institutions for 3,640 children were commissioned in Dushanbe.
