On December 3, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and Chairman of the Majlisi Milli of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, Chairman of the City of Dushanbe Rustami Emomali opened the State Institution "Children's Music School No. 3 named after Abdufattoh Odinaev" on Fazliddin Muhammadiev Street in the capital's Sino district, the press service of the head of state reported.










The new two-story building, constructed in accordance with the Decree of the Chairman of the City of Dushanbe, was erected on a 0.17-hectare site and is designed to accommodate 300 students in two shifts.
Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon was informed that construction began earlier this year and was completed quickly. The new building of the children's music school offers modern facilities. It includes classrooms for dance, piano, folk instruments, classical singing, falak, and other facilities.
There is also a spacious hall with 42 seats for events and a library.
The children's music school was founded in 1962 in a residential building and didn't meet modern requirements. Now, students have the opportunity to study and hone their skills in a new building with modern facilities.
Currently, 130 students at the State Institution "Children's Music School No. 3 named after Abdufattoh Odinaev" are studying dance, playing national and international musical instruments, and vocal skills. Twenty-five teachers, including experienced and distinguished artists, teach the program.
In addition to the reconstruction, the institution was provided with a large selection of musical instruments, including a piano and a small electric grand piano, a clarinet, a flute, a guitar, a dutar, percussion instruments, and others.
It should be noted that students of the music school took part in national competitions, including "Tajikistan – My Beloved Homeland," as well as in international competitions in Germany, Switzerland, Turkey, and the Russian Federation, where they won prizes.
After inspecting the new building of the music school, the President of Tajikistan congratulated the teachers and students on this worthy gift.
Emomali Rahmon emphasized that in the era of globalization and cultural interaction, the role of culture in representing the state and nation is significantly increasing. In this regard, he called on educators to strive to train worthy specialists in the arts and creativity.
Today, with the participation of the Head of State and the Chairman of the City of Dushanbe, a total of 8 preschool institutions for 1,900 children were opened in the capital.
Construction of another 98 preschools for 23,000 children continues in Dushanbe.
It should be noted that in 2025, 5 schools with 2,650 places in two shifts and 16 preschool institutions for 3,640 children were commissioned in Dushanbe.
