On December 2, 2025, a meeting was held in Minsk between the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Police Colonel General Rahimzoda Ramazon Hamro, and the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Police Lieutenant General Ivan Vladimirovich Kubrakov. This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan.
The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation between the two countries' agencies. The parties discussed in detail areas of collaboration in combating cybercrime, sharing best practices in the production and use of unmanned aerial vehicles, and organizing and conducting joint exercises to counter terrorism and extremism.
In addition, joint work to combat the illegal trafficking of narcotic substances and other pressing issues of mutual interest were the subject of separate discussion.
Following the talks, the heads of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reaffirmed their commitment to further developing cooperation, emphasizing the importance of collaboration to protect citizens' rights, ensure public safety, and combat transnational organized crime.
