Construction of a new modern resort is underway on the shores of the "Tajik Sea" in the town of Guliston in honor of the 35th anniversary of Independence. This was reported by the press service of the Sughd Region Governor.
The resort is designed to accommodate 250 vacationers. Once operational, dozens of residents will find permanent employment.
The institution is being built on the initiative of a local businesswoman.
During a visit to the construction site, Sughd Region Governor Rajab Akhmadzoda instructed entrepreneurs and architectural representatives to expedite the process.
Along with the resort, a modern restaurant is being built in the same city with the participation of the entrepreneur.
The facility will also be built in a national style and modern design and will contribute to improving the guest service experience.
Guliston currently has five sanatoriums. The construction of a new facility and restaurant in honor of the 35th anniversary of Independence will further strengthen the town's position as a recreation and tourism center.
