President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon has departed for Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, to attend the latest meeting of the Collective Security Council of the Collective Security Treaty Organization. This was reported by the presidential press service.
At Dushanbe International Airport, the President was seen off by the Chairman of the Majlisi Milli of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Chairman of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli, the Prime Minister of the Republic, the First Deputy Head of the Executive Office of the President of Tajikistan, and other officials.
The head of state's working visit program includes participation in a meeting of the CSTO Collective Security Council, where current issues of regional and international security, as well as interaction between member states within the organization, will be discussed.
The President of Tajikistan is accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Assistant to the President for Foreign Relations, the Minister of Defense, the Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Tajikistan and other officials.
