On November 24, Tajikistan's Foreign Minister Sirojiddin Mukhriddin received Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Majid Takht-Ravanchi, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and prospects for developing Tajik-Iranian relations in the economic and cultural spheres, as well as bilateral security cooperation. The participants exchanged views on existing forms of interaction and touched upon possible areas for further deepening joint work in these areas.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the parties emphasized their mutual interest in further expanding the partnership between the two friendly and fraternal countries. During the conversation, they expressed their intention to continue active dialogue and develop practical projects aimed at strengthening bilateral ties and increasing the effectiveness of cooperation in formats of mutual interest.
The discussion was constructive and confirmed Tajikistan and Iran's commitment to developing mutually beneficial cooperation based on respect for sovereignty and equality, according to a statement from the Tajik Foreign Ministry.
