Russian troops attacked the Ukrainian city of Zaporizhzhia on the evening of November 20. According to the latest data from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, the attack killed five people and injured three more.
Residential buildings, a store, and a market were damaged during the attack. The number of casualties is being determined, according to Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration. Emergency services are working at the scene.
Ivan Fedorov previously warned of the threat of strikes on the Zaporizhzhia region with guided aerial bombs.
The day before, Russia launched massive airstrikes on Ukrainian cities, including Kharkiv, Lviv, and Ternopil. According to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, more than 470 attack drones and 48 missiles were launched at the country. In Ternopil, the attacks killed 26 people, including three children, and injured 93 more, including 18 children, the National Police of Ukraine reported.
