On November 19, 2025, the 11th meeting of the Cooperation Council between the Republic of Tajikistan and the European Union was held in Brussels. The meeting was co-chaired by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Sirojiddin Muhriddin, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus, Constantinos Kombos, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the development of political dialogue, the state of trade and economic cooperation, and opportunities for attracting investment.
The meeting also addressed cooperation in green energy, transport and digital connectivity, critical raw materials, environmental protection, and human rights. Special attention was given to pressing international and regional issues.
The meeting was held in a constructive atmosphere. The parties confirmed their readiness to continue dialogue and strengthen further cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the European Union.
