On November 14 and 15, 2025, two road accidents occurred in Tajikistan, resulting in the deaths of two citizens, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic reported.
On November 14, at approximately 3:30 PM, the driver of a Hyundai Porter, Abduazimov Kozikul, born in 1992, a resident of the Shakhristan district, lost control of the vehicle at kilometer 260 of the Dushanbe-Khujand-Chanok highway and struck pedestrians crossing the road: Saidmuminova Gulchekhra Murodalievna, born in 1998, a resident of the Devashtich district, and her minor daughter, Dzhushkunzoda Dildora, born in 2018. As a result, Saidmuminova died at the scene, and her daughter was taken to the hospital in serious condition.
On November 15, at approximately 1:20 PM, the driver of a Daewoo Damas, Khaitov Khusnidin, born in 1972, a resident of Istaravshan, lost control of the vehicle and struck a cyclist, Ergashev Khudoyor, born in 2002, a local resident. As a result of the accident, the cyclist died at the scene, and the driver was hospitalized with injuries.
Investigations into both road accidents are ongoing.
