Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud announced the country's intention to increase investment in the United States from $600 billion to $1 trillion, Bloomberg reports.
The Crown Prince met with US President Donald Trump at the White House. The US President remarked, "So you're telling me now that $600 billion will become a trillion? Okay, I like that very much."
In May 2025, the United States and Saudi Arabia signed the largest package of agreements and investment commitments in the history of economic cooperation, worth over $600 billion. At the time, media outlets, including Axios, reported President Trump's intention to conclude a $1 trillion deal with the Persian Gulf countries.
