The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Tajikistan reports that during the 40 days of the autumn conscription campaign, the plan for conscription of citizens for compulsory military service was fulfilled by 96 percent.
Earlier, on November 1, the agency reported that the plan had been 92 percent fulfilled. Dushanbe, the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region, and Khatlon Region, as well as most cities and districts of republican subordination, achieved full compliance. In Sughd Region, the plan's fulfillment rate is 89 percent.
Since October 1 of this year, in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan "On granting length-of-service leave to military personnel who have completed the established period of military service, and the next conscription of citizens of the Republic of Tajikistan born between 1998 and 2007 for military service," the autumn conscription of young men for mandatory military service has been proceeding as planned. As previously reported, the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region fully and efficiently fulfilled its plan for the first day of conscription.
To date, the city of Dushanbe, as well as the cities and districts of Khatlon Region, have demonstrated significant results, fulfilling their conscription plan 100 percent. After 40 days, the conscription plan in Sughd Region stands at 89 percent. Currently, the cities and districts of Ayni, Gorno-Mastchoh, Shakhristan, Panjakent, Istiklol, Buston, Guliston, and Spitamen have fully fulfilled their plan for sending young men to mandatory military service.
Cities and districts under republican jurisdiction also achieved approximately 95 percent of their plan fulfillment within forty days. Among these, the cities and districts of Sangvor, Nurabad, Rasht, Tajikabad, Lakhsh, Rogun, Faizabad, Tursunzade, and Hisor were the first to fully meet their plan.
It should be noted that during the forty days of the autumn conscription of citizens for military service, the conscription plan for the entire territory of the republic was fulfilled by approximately 96 percent.
