Kazakhstan's Ministry of Emergency Situations staff provided assistance to Tajik citizens after a bus broke down in the Akmola region, the ministry's press service reported .
The incident occurred near the village of Zhibek Zholy. The bus was traveling from the Russian Federation to Tajikistan when it broke down.
Rescuers quickly evacuated 53 passengers, including eight children—citizens of Tajikistan. All passengers were placed at a warming center in the village of Arshaly, where they received the necessary medical care.
Once the bus repairs are completed, passengers will continue on to their destination.
