Tajikistan's tourism opportunities are being showcased at the World Travel Market 2025 international exhibition, taking place from November 4 to 6 in London. The Tajikistan tourism pavilion was organized by the Tourism Development Committee under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan with the support of the Embassy of Tajikistan in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, according to the Tourism Development Committee under the President of Tajikistan.
The exhibition offers the general public, international partners, and tourism industry professionals the opportunity to explore Tajikistan's rich tourism potential. The country's tourism pavilion showcases its natural resources, opportunities for health and wellness tourism, sport and mountain tourism, unique culture and ancient civilization, crystal-clear waters, and fresh and dried aromatic fruits produced locally.
The World Travel Market 2025 platform brings together representatives from over 180 countries, approximately 40,000 companies and hotels, specialists, and other service industry participants. The exhibition provides an opportunity for travel companies, hotels, airports, and educational institutions to present their services to the global tourism market and discuss cooperation with international partners in both B2B and B2C formats.
Tajik tourism companies, including Shokhtur, the Center for Health and Tourism Development, Bomi Jahon Tour, Rasul Tour, and other tourism providers, are participating in the exhibition. They present the country's tourism potential and opportunities for developing the travel industry.
On the first day of the exhibition, the leadership of the Committee for Tourism Development under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan held a series of meetings with representatives of tourism agencies from various countries, companies, and the media. During the talks, issues related to strengthening cooperation, developing tourism companies, implementing artificial intelligence technologies, training personnel, and digitalizing the industry were discussed.
In addition, the heads of Tajikistan's higher education institutions discussed student academic exchanges, teacher training, and the implementation of joint educational programs with foreign partners on the sidelines of the exhibition.
